The Joy of Personal IR-respsibility!

Ah, the day after Christmas. For parents of little ones, it's time to detox and reprogram the kids. All the attention, presents and crappy food takes it's toll as you wake up the next morning. "What's to unwrap today? Where's the candy? Why do I have to take a nap? Why, just yesterday, every whim was catered to by Grandma, Grandpa, Aunts and Uncles and Cousins. How come today is different?" Not to mention the shakes from instant sugar withdrawals. It makes for a great day of family togetherness, especially since Mommy and Daddy are wiped out from all the holiday hype.

And what are the old folks doing who showered the kids with silly gifts and shoved all that junk food down their throats? Sleeping in! Yep, it's great to be on the other side.

Comments:
I had to detox and reprogram Randy in order for him to go back to work this morning. Looks like he dove into some of the baked goods before he left for work, though, so I guess the sugar shakes haven't begun yet.

Funny! I was going to do a similar post. Levi was mister crabby yesterday. He did make us laugh though. Every time he took a bite he kept raising his hands up expecting us to cheer at the great job he was doing. He was a little sad that we were not impressed with his accomplishment.

Seriously though it brings such happiness to see your kids being spoiled and loved. The crabbiness isn't that bad.

Levi crabby? Tell me it's not true!

Its true!
